DISTRICT 17 GRADING POLICY

Grading Scale for Grades K-5

• Exceeds Standards = 4 by NYS Standards

• Meets Standards = 3 by NYS Standards

• Approaching Standards = 2 by NYS Standards = N

• Below Standards = 1 NYS Standards = N

Timeline: Students in grades K-5 will receive grades three times this year (November, March, and June). Progress reports will be distributed three times a year in November, March and May.
